My enthusiasm for shooting and editing video and for all things gadgets or gear has led me to indenture myself to master craftsman, Corey Sanford. Corey owns his own video production and DJ business in Kirksville and has a reputation built upon his ability.
As his apprentice, I begin my training on August 3rd and 4th with a wedding video shoot. I will be able to help set up equipment and get a look at a professional camera and other gear. Possibly, I will get to shoot some video at this wedding. I can then be involved in some of the editing process afterward.
My aspiration is to one day be a master in the field, or at least a journeyman ; ) I don’t know if I will ever make much or any money in the trade of videography, but I am doing something I love and it never hurts to gain more knowledge and experience in an area where you truly have a passion.
