“It’s your story. Make sure they watch it as you would tell it.”
What are your memories worth? If you are like most people, they are priceless. What many of us wouldn’t give to see our parents wedding video or some footage of our dad in little league or our mom at her 16th birthday. Imagine having your grandfather telling your family’s history on video. Mix that video with some old pictures and sound bites and you have a valuable, personal account of your family, as he would have told it.
“Once upon a time…”

This weekend I am scheduled to shoot two events. One on Friday night, a square dance birthday party. The other is a hayride and bonfire party. Both of these events will be included in the senior videos of a couple clients of mine. They should both be great, Fall fun and are perfect material to include in the videos. I need to dig out my Wranglers and bandanna.

Today I had a video shoot with three senior girls as part of their Senior Video Package. We went to 1000 Hills State Park in Kirksville, MO where the trees are beginning their colorful exit into Winter. The day was warm for late October, but the wind was more like March. We got some great shots and I am anxious to get these videos put together, which will be in early May, before graduation parties (as these are all school year in the making). The three girls are friends, so much of the footage will be suitable for all three videos.
Today’s shoot was one component of the Senior Video package offered by The Video Scribe. The Senior Video can include still photos (growing up montage), past “home movies,” video from special events throughout the year, birthday parties, best friends, sporting events, band concerts, interviews, and whatever else the senior might like to include. These videos take senior portraits to the next level and make great additions to the graduation reception.

Archive all of your precious pictures, home movies, even important documents. Have paper documents and pictures scanned and digitized for safe and easy storage at a site away from your home in case of fire or other disaster.
Save your precious home movies to DVD before it is too late
Chronicle your home and contents in case of disaster
The Video Scribe can transfer your old home movies and photographs to DVD. You may also wish to preserve special documents as a digital image in the event the original is destroyed. The Video Scribe can scan those important documents and papers and transfer them to CD, your external hard drive, or flash drive. You can then store them in a safe place, assured they are preserved for a lifetime.
