This is my “Photo of the Week,” though I don’t have such a category. Essentially, I got “lucky” and captured both the squirrel and the male cardinal at the same time. I had just gotten home from work, and let the dog out. I knew the cardinal was distressed about something (there is a nest nearby), so I looked and noticed the squirrel in the tree, perhaps a little too close for comfort.
Inside the building a the Petroglyph Area of 1000 Hills State Park. Not composed very well because all I had was my 85mm and couldn’t get back far enough. Next time I will take the 50mm.
